Privacy Policy

The easy-catalog.fr tools process your files exclusively in your browser. The content of your files (product data, prices, references…) never passes through our servers and is never stored there. This is an architectural choice, not a marketing promise.

Two strictly limited exceptions, always announced on screen: the pay-per-file (one-shot) purchase transmits only the fingerprint of your file (an anonymous SHA-256 identifier from which the content cannot be reconstructed) to link your code to that file; the optional AI assistant transmits only the diagnostic and the column names — never the content of the cells.

At purchase: e-mail address, billing address and, where applicable, VAT number — required to perform the contract and for invoicing (legal basis: contract and legal obligation). Payment is processed by Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe Ltd): your bank details never pass through our servers. Stripe's policy: stripe.com/fr/privacy.

When signing in to the subscribed tools: a signed access cookie, valid for 30 days, with no tracker. No advertising cookies, no profiling.

Audience measurement: our public pages use Matomo, installed on our own server (stats.easy-catalog.fr). No data is transmitted to any third party or outside the European Union. Measurement works without any cookies, your IP address is truncated by two bytes before any recording, your browser's “Do Not Track” signal is respected, and raw data is deleted after 13 months. This configuration falls under the consent exemption provided by the CNIL for strictly necessary audience measurement: this is why no banner is imposed on you. Authenticated areas (subscriber account, license portal) are not measured at all.

By e-mail: the messages you send us, kept for as long as needed to follow up on the relationship.

Billing data: 10 years (accounting obligation). Subscriber account and access codes: duration of the subscription, then 3 years. One-shot fingerprints: at most 13 months after expiry. Access cookie: 30 days. Raw audience-measurement data: 13 months.

Stripe (payments), Amen / AT Internet SAS (hosting in France) and the Publisher itself. No sale or rental of data, no transfer for advertising purposes. If you use the AI assistant with your own key, your requests (diagnostic and column names only) are sent directly to the Anthropic API from your browser, under your key.

In accordance with the GDPR, you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability over your data, which you can exercise by e-mail: contact@easy-catalog.fr. Response within 30 days. You may lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr) if you believe your rights have not been respected.
